MAKE YOURSELF HEARD!

Many European GBLT sports organizations including ESSDA (European Same-Sex Dance Association), who are members of EGLSF (European Gay & Lesbian Sports Federation), started at the Outgames in Copenhagen this year to make a strong plea for a dialogue between the organizers of the Outgames, GLISA (Gay & Lesbian International Sports Association) and the Gay Games, the FGG (The Federation of Gay Games), and to push for one set of Games.

NASSPDA First Annual Meeting Report
On Sunday, April 26, 2009, the first annual meeting of the North American Same-Sex Partner Dance Association was held in Emeryville, CA, at the Allegro Ballroom. It was the first time that the seven NASSPDA Board members had all physically been in the same location since they were elected in December 2007. Welcome To NASSPDA
On October 7, 2007 an historic event occurred. Thirty-three same-sex partner/ballroom dancers, competitors, organizers, and other interested parties from many parts of the U.S. and Canada met at the Allegro Ballroom in Emeryville, CA, and voted to create a membership organization whose primary focus will be same-sex ballroom dance in North America.
