A mid-western boy, I grew up in IL. My parents encouraged us to be involved in music growing up, and my college degree was in Music Education. I moved to Chicago after college and worked at Lyric Opera of Chicago for 8 years. In 1995, I moved to SF (for a man!) and found my new home. I met my partner, Jorge, in 1996 (obviously the previous man did not work out...), and we\'ve been together since. :-) Before moving from Chicago, I was introduced to 2-steppin\' on a blind date in 1993. I fell in love with it, and have been dancing socially since. I danced with the Barbary Coast Cloggers (Appalachian clogging) for 6 years, which was a blast. Then in November 2007, I took up ballroom dance, and fell in love with it! My dance partner, Photis, and I look forward to competing in CA Dreaming in November 2009 in SF!
