I have been dancing Argentine Tango for 6 years and am co-organizer of QueerTango San Francisco, which produced the first International QueerTango Festival in the United States as well as the QueerTango Cafe in San Francisco and Berkeley, California. QueerTango San Francisco formed \"OtroTango,\" a performance dance company, which entered several competitions in NASSPDA events, and performed in the opening show (Tango House) of the International QueerTango Festival in 2009. I have also produced 2 same sex dance documentaries: Tango Con*Fusion and OUTBallroom which have screened internationally. My partner and I have competed in Argentine Tango at most of the NASSPDA sanctioned events and support the organization and it's philosophy.
