By unanimous vote of the Board, the following letter was drafted to be sent to the members of the Ad Hoc committee elected on October 7, 2007 and to the members of the Elections Consulting Group who conducted the actual election in appreciation for their work.
Dear members of the Ad Hoc Committee and the Election Consultants Group,
We would like to thank you sincerely for all your work that made the elections such a success and that launched this new organization. We appreciate all the effort and thought that went into your initial discussions to create the foundation of our new board.
As a token of our appreciation, we would like to offer an honorarium in the form of free membership in "NASSDA" to those who served on the Ad Hoc Committee and the Election Consultants Group for a period of two consecutive years to commence once membership fees have been established.
We commit to continuing the work you started to develop a North American organization which honestly and transparently serves the interests of our community.
